A little help. A smoother day.

How can we help?

Find help with your LumaCita account, appointments and salon workspace. Choose a topic, search the guides, or contact us below.

Sign in and recover access

  1. Use the email address linked to your LumaCita account or salon invitation. Check the spelling and your spam folder if an email does not arrive. Use the most recent verification email or code; older links may have expired.

  2. Complete the security check when requested. If an invitation opens a sign-in screen, use the invited email address. If you have set a password, use that password with the same address. Ask your salon manager to check your invitation if access is missing.

  3. If the app cannot load your appointments, check your internet connection and confirm that you are in the correct salon account. Contact support if the problem continues; do not create another account to try to recover your records.

Salon owners and professionals

  1. Salon owners manage the salon overview. Professional access is limited to the appointments and information assigned to that professional. If the wrong team or appointments appear, confirm the signed-in email and ask the salon owner to check your staff membership.

  2. Use an individual login for each team member. Do not share owner credentials. Contact your salon manager when joining or leaving a team so access can be reviewed.

Appointments and booking changes

  1. Check the appointment date, time, treatment and professional before making a change. A booking request is not a confirmed appointment until the salon confirms it. Follow the confirmation and cancellation terms provided by your salon.

  2. For a change, cancellation, lateness or a refund, contact the salon directly using the details in your booking confirmation. LumaCita support can help with account or technical problems; the salon manages its appointments and policies.

  3. If a requested change is awaiting approval, keep the original appointment time until the salon confirms a replacement. Avoid making duplicate bookings while waiting.

Treatment timer and clean-down

  1. In the iPhone salon app, starting a treatment begins timing from the moment you press Start. Starting later than the scheduled booking means elapsed time will differ from the diary time.

  2. Finish treatment moves the appointment into its clean-down stage using the configured reset time. Mark the chair or room ready when cleaning is complete. The ready-by time includes that reset stage.

  3. Dynamic Island appears only on compatible iPhones, with Live Activities allowed in device settings. Other iPhones can still show the appointment within the app. If a timer looks wrong, check when the treatment was started and which stage is active.

Client history and recorded takings

  1. Record completed appointments, cancellations and no-shows accurately. Check the client history before taking action on a new booking. Ask the salon owner about the salon’s booking and no-show policy.

  2. Recorded takings reflect entries saved in the salon workspace. They are not proof that a card payment was processed or that money has reached a bank account. Check the date range, professional and saved receipt details when reconciling totals.

Treatments, team and availability

  1. Review treatment duration, price, consultation time and any clean-down or preparation allowance. Check professional skills, weekly shifts, breaks, opening hours and shared chair or room requirements.

  2. If no booking times are available, check those settings alongside existing appointments and the salon timezone. Saving a draft does not reserve a slot. Review the saved availability before sharing a booking link.

Booking links and your website

  1. Use the booking URL supplied for your salon. Test it in a private browser window and on a phone before adding it to your website, social profile or printed QR code.

  2. For WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or another website editor, a normal button linking to your salon booking page is a simple starting point. If you use an embed, keep a direct booking link available too and check that the page works on mobile.

  3. For a blank embed, check that your website permits the booking page to appear in a frame. Confirm that the direct booking link works, and contact support with the website URL if the problem continues.

Privacy and account questions

  1. Read the privacy policy linked below for information about account and booking data. Contact LumaCita support about access to your account or personal information. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

  2. Your salon manages its own treatment and appointment records. Contact the salon about corrections to those records or its retention policy. Never send another client’s records in a support message.
